Our hearts are filled with joy because what brings joy to us, what renews our strength are lives reached by God’s love. There is nothing that can repay that!
Lidia Klava, PEPE Coordinator for Latin America, has just received an e-mail from our missionaries in Colombia, Ana Loide and Carmem Ligia. Take a look:
"We are working a lot with our PEPEs. We were in the region of Urabá visiting 3 PEPEs over there and we came back very happy with the results! We already have parents that accepted Jesus and are now preparing to be baptized, children that are also students at Sunday school, children graduating this year are being enrolled in public schools with the help of our Missionary Educators. All this is taking place in an extremely poor region, very affected by violence due to the guerrillas. God is wonderful! Two PEPEs had neither chairs nor tables for the children, and we were able to get some small chairs for them! Imagine the happy faces! Any sacrifice is worth it."
Uraba in one of the regions most affected by the guerrillas, but God is restoring lives there!!
Help us to pray for:
- The safety of our missionaries Ana and Carmem.
- Our students and their families, that God will continue to use PEPE as an instrument to save and bless lives.
- The missionary-educators (volunteers).
- The huge challenge of opening PEPEs in such poor areas.
